Taratata : Chris and the band appeared on this famous french musical TV show in 1993, and they really rock! The show's official page shows both videos "San Francisco Days"  and "Diddley Daddy"

Chris joins the cast of "The Informers", A drama based on Bret Easton Ellis' novel set in 1983 Los Angeles, where movie executives, rock stars, a vampire, and other morally challenged character mix and commingle.

Chris Isaak will play rock legend Roy Orbison and sing "Pretty Woman" in a February 22 episode of the NBC' series American Dreams. 

Chasing Liberty  The new movie starring Mandy Moore (now playing on theaters) features the song "Life will go on"

Chris' interview from The Charter Zone : In Charter's exclusive interview with Chris Isaak, he promised fans more of the "same old sophomoric humor that has made us infamous." Chris also wants to reassure fans that the rumor isn't true - Kenny hasn't left the band and he will be in every episode of the third and final season of the show. Extracts :

CI : I wear a lot of second hand clothes unless I have a concert and then I wear beaded and sequined second hand clothes. No stylist dresses me although I do have a woman that assists me with the buttons.

Do you ever plan on releasing a Christmas CD?

CI : Yes, probably in the next year or so, I know all the songs and I love all the songs so I'm looking forward to doing it

I apologize for the lack of updates... Isaakland has been pretty quiet these past few weeks. Chris and Silvertone are currently in Vancouver to shoot the 3d season of the Chris Isaak Show which will contain 13 episodes. (17 episodes in each season so far). The filming should be over around summer 2003.

According to Ticketmaster, Chris will be at the Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida for the Mardi Gras festivities on Saturday, April 26th 2003.

Wild at Heart 2 update : It was rumored Chris's been considered to play the role of Sailor Ripley in the "Wild At Heart" film sequel directed by the book writer himself, Barry Gifford. (working title : "Sultans of Africa"). Unfortunately plans have fallen through for the film and Isaak won't be playing in it. (Thanks to Clint from MovieHole.net).

VH1 Counts Down Music's '100 Sexiest Artists' in five-hour, Five Night Special, Premiering September 23-27 at 10:00 P.M. (ET/PT). Chris is #68, the complete list of VH1's "100 Sexiest Artists" is available on vh1.com

Tour canceled : Bad news for the fans in Europe : unfortunately Kenney Dale Johnson confirmed that the European tour has fallen through :-(

Concert For America Tom Brokaw hosts this two-hour concert event from the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Featuring several of the country's most popular performers including Chris Isaak. The concert pays tribute to the victims and heroes of September 11th. The President and Mrs. Bush will also be in attendance as Mrs. Bush is Honorary Chair of the event. 9/8 pm Wednesday, September 11 on NBC.

Aussie tour : Chris & Silvertone will be on tour at the end of the year in Australia. They should be in Europe in October, but the dates haven't been announced yet :

CI Show  : It sounds like there will be a third season of the Chris Isaak Show, even if nothing has been confirmed either by Showtime or Chris's management. For those in Europe who are expecting a tour on the Old Continent, that might be no such good news :-/ 

Show on DVD : Chris mentions in an interview that the Show should be released on DVD someday. Quote :" I don't know the plans yet, but it would seem to be a natural thing. I just saw a box set of Queer as Folk [another Showtime original series], so I would think so. It makes sense."

The Chris Isaak Show season finale premieres on Tuesday, July 9 at 10:00 PM on Showtime. It will feature exclusive concert footage of special guest stars including The Goo Goo Dolls, Trisha Yearwood, Bush, Stephan Jenkins of Third Eye Blind, Green Day and Everclear.

 It's rumored there could be a third season but nothing have been confirmed yet... VH1 is also showing reruns from season one.
